While we celebrate outstanding work every day, our annual Vestra Star Awards are our special opportunity to shine a spotlight on the stars who truly go above and beyond.

Each year, we host an annual awards ceremony to come together as a team and celebrate the very best of Vestra Homecare. Crowning 5 exceptional award winners from across our employees.

How can you get involved?

At our annual awards night in March, we’ll be presenting five awards, and we need your help with nominations for three of them!

If you know someone who inspires, supports others, or shows amazing potential, nominate them below. Whether you’re a customer, family member, colleague, or healthcare professional, this is your chance to celebrate their hard work and dedication.

You can nominate as many team members as you like — there’s no limit!

Guiding Star – Inspirational role models

Is there someone who inspires you? A team member who leads by example, supports others, and makes a positive impact every day?

Vestra Impact Star – Care workers making a meaningful and lasting difference

Has a care worker transformed a service user's life? Someone who has made a real, lasting impact?

Vestra Office Star – Recognising office & support Staff

Is there a member of the office or support team who always goes the extra mile? Someone you can rely on who consistently excels in everything they do?

  • Impact Award Winner 2026

    At our Vestra Star Awards on 26th March 2026, we honoured a care worker whose dedication has made a truly life changing difference.

     

    The Impact Award recognised someone who goes beyond care to transform lives, helping people build confidence, independence, and dignity.

     

    After powerful nominations from families, colleagues, and professionals, we were incredibly proud to announce the winner as:

     

    Tracy Hyslop

     

    With over 25 years of dedication, Tracy’s compassion, loyalty and commitment have touched countless lives. Her impact cannot be measured, only felt.

  • Guiding Star Award Winner 2026

    On 26th March 2026, we came together to celebrate those who shine brightest, even when working independently out in the community.

     

    Our Guiding Star Award recognised someone who uplifts others, leads with kindness, and ensures no colleague ever feels unsupported, even on the toughest days.

     

    After heartfelt nominations and inspiring stories of compassion and resilience, we were proud to announce this year’s winner:

     

    Suzanne Young

     

    Despite facing personal challenges, Suzanne continued to show unwavering dedication, supporting both her team and the people she cares for with strength and heart.

     

    Her light truly guides others, and it was an honour to celebrate her.

  • Lifetime Star Award Winners 2026

    On 26th March 2026, we celebrated a lifetime of dedication, compassion, and commitment to care.

     

    Our Lifetime Star Award recognised individuals who have shaped not just our service, but the very spirit of Vestra Homecare.

     

    This year, we had the privilege of announcing not one…but two incredible winners:

     

    Brenda Archer & Brenda Roberts

     

    Together, “The Brenda’s” have delivered tens of thousands of care visits, supported each other through life’s challenges, and brought compassion, humour, and excellence to everything they do.

     

    An unstoppable duo. A lasting legacy. True Stars.

  • Office Star Award Winner 2026

    During our Vestra Star Awards on 26th March 2026, we recognised the incredible individuals working behind the scenes, the engine room of our services.

     

    The Office Star Award celebrated those who keep everything running smoothly while supporting both clients and colleagues every single day.

     

    We were proud to announce this year’s winner:

     

    Emily Hunter

     

    From going above and beyond in her own time to supporting colleagues when they need it most, Emily embodies compassion, loyalty, and dedication in everything she does.

     

    She truly is the heartbeat of the team.

  • Vestra Star of the Year

    At our Vestra Star Awards on 26th March 2026, we celebrated the very best of the best.

     

    The Vestra Star of the Year recognised an individual who consistently demonstrated excellence, compassion, and dedication, someone who truly represents everything Vestra stands for.

     

    Chosen from a year of incredible monthly winners across all branches, this award highlighted outstanding care and commitment. The winner:
