Sunderland’s Vestra Star of the Month - February 2026
Next up under the spotlight is Brenda – two months in, and she’s already an obvious star!
Brenda only joined us in December, but she’s already made a huge mark! Her name was on everyone’s lips when it came to choosing February’s Vestra Star of the Month in Sunderland.
An experienced care worker, Brenda is adored by clients and colleagues alike. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, and with a helping hand and a friendly smile at the ready, she has fitted straight into the Vestra team.
Christina, our Registered Manager, says:
"You get a warm, friendly feeling when in Brenda’s presence, she is simply wonderful."
When presented with her award, Brenda said:
"It’s really lovely to be recognised. I’ve worked in care for a long time, and this is the first time I’ve received an award like this. I enjoy helping people and being there for our clients, so it means a lot to know that what I do is appreciated."
