Durham’s Vestra Star of the Month - May 2026
May marked another exciting milestone for Vestra Homecare as we successfully launched our latest contract with Durham County Council.
Before announcing this month's winner, we would like to thank all of our dedicated employees who have worked tirelessly over the last few months to prepare for the contract go-live.
While there were several worthy nominees for Durham's very first Vestra Star Award, one person stood out for her exceptional contribution since the contract began – Louise!
Louise has been fantastic from day one, always willing to help, support others, and do whatever is needed to ensure things run smoothly.
When presented with her award, Louise became emotional and said she couldn't believe she had won. Overwhelmed by the recognition, she shared how much she enjoys working for Vestra and praised the support she receives from the office team.
Louise, thank you for everything you have done to support the launch of our Durham contract and for the commitment you show every day. This award is thoroughly deserved, and we are proud to recognise your hard work.
