Hartlepool’s Vestra Star of the Month Winner – April 2026!
Hartlepool's deserving winner for April is Hardeep, recognised for her outstanding kindness, dedication, and commitment to the people she supports.
A gentleman we support, who is usually able to visit the shops independently, was having an off day and felt unable to go out. When Hardeep arrived for the visit, she noticed he was visibly distressed and upset as he still wanted to complete his shopping.
Without hesitation, and not wanting to leave him feeling unsettled, Hardeep arranged to return after her remaining visits so she could support him to go to the shops later in her own time.
The gentleman was extremely grateful for the additional support, which made a real difference to his day.
A true example of going above and beyond, demonstrating genuine compassion and a caring nature.
